As a humorous aside, my son calls my wife’s Highlander, “mommy car”, and all varieties of SUV, CUV, minivans, and wagons, generically, “mom car”, so I’ve started calling all these cars that as well.

My car is just “daddy car”, all other cars are just, “car”, and trucks (and large vans)  of all sizes are “truck”, except garbage trucks, which are “trash truck”, and his grandpa’s truck that he calls “poppi truck”, since he calls that grandpa “poppi”.

In all fairness, the modern SUV/Crossover is really just a tall wagon. My wife hated it when I called her Explorer a wagon. :)

The more annoying thing on Craigslist is people tag bombing their add with every key word known to man. Searching for a Ferrari? Surely you want to cross-shop it with a Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ford Ram Chevy Porsche Maserati Truck Car SUV Wagon Airplane Cash Trade Washing Machine Dryer...

Car dealers are slowly ruining craigslist. You can always filter ‘by owner’, seems to yield better results. Always check combine duplicates and search nearby areas as well!

All CUVs are just hinged door minivans. I used to call them all “ hingeyvans”, but my son calls them all “mom cars”, so I’ve started using that instead.
